Quick answers · Before you write

The four questions most readers ask first.

If your question fits one of these, you may not need to write at all — but you're always welcome to anyway.

How do I reserve a Saturday workshop chair?

Send us a note using the form above with the date you'd like to attend, the number of chairs (one or two), and any dietary swaps we should know about. We confirm by email within two working days and follow up with a secure payment link.

What's your refund policy if I can't attend?

You may cancel up to 14 days before a workshop for a full refund. Cancellations 7 — 14 days before receive a 50% refund or a free transfer to a later date. Within 7 days, transfers are still welcome but refunds are not given. The full set of terms is on our terms of use page, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 are not affected.

Can I visit without booking a workshop?

Visits are by appointment only. We're a small working kitchen, not a shop — please send a note first so the kettle is on and the bench is clear when you arrive.

Do you reply on weekends?

The kitchen rests on Sundays and Mondays. Notes that arrive on the weekend are read first thing on Tuesday morning. Workshop emergencies (a missed bus, a last-minute swap) are answered any day of the week.
